The Patchwork Dog and Basket provides everything you need for patchwork and quilting as well as general sewing supplies. We have a wide range of fabrics as well as waddings and threads and a fantastic selection of gorgeous buttons, trimmings and ribbons. We also sell books, patterns and equipment such as cutters, rulers and mats as well as the odd basket and antique quilt.

Normal hours:

Tuesday to Saturday 10.00am to 5.00pm. Occasionally closed for lunch between 1.00pm and 1.30pm but never far away.

Our new course list for Spring term is now available. We offer a range of Patchwork and Creative Textile classes. If you are interested, you can view the list on this site by clicking on the courses button, ring us and we'll send you one, or use this is as a good excuse to come and see us in the shop!

Our classes will take place in our new Classroom in the Needlemakers cellar. If you've never done any patchwork before why not try our Beginners class with Annabel Groom, which takes place on Tuesdays. .
